2014 LR2 2.0L Petrol L359 4 cylinder
Hi,
Any advise on changing the transmission oil on my 2014 LR2. which has approximately 86 K miles. Recently noticed that it slips gears while driving.
Planing to do a transmission fluid change DIY and need help with which fluid to buy and where to buy the drain plug and drain plug gasket.
Thanks

You will need one of these two specs for the fluid:
Early Tranny: AISIN ATF-0T4 (JWS 3309 / Toyota T-IV)
Later Tranny: JWS 3324 (Toyota WS)
Not sure when the tranny changed, you'll need to google that. I'd guess you need the later spec with a 2014.

For the plug gaskets and oring, just need to google around. I had to order from several places to get all the parts in a timely manner. You could try your local JLR dealer.
This thread has a discussion for fluid changes on the older gearbox. I'm not sure how similar the new one is, but it's probably not as simple as a drain and fill. Probably need multiple drain/fill cycles, and will need to check fluid temp with an advanced scantool, or an IR sensor to set the level correctly at the end...
