Question 2014 LR2 - Possible Transmission issue?

Hey all,

Recently my 2014 LR2 transmission started kicking when decelerating at low speeds (presumably from 2nd to 1st) I have also noticed it maybe not shifting as smoothly but it could just be in my head now. The transmission was serviced about 6 months ago. I leased a 2008 for 3 years with no issues and am pretty familiar with these trucks. Just curious if anyone has experienced issues with their transmission?

I would like to know about this as well. I have a 2013 LR2 that began doing the same thing after the engine was REPLACED (don't ask). I have less than 50k on it. Thank you!

Does the kicking only occur when going downhill?

No, usually flat ground, but sometimes down hill as well.

As @flybd5 asks. And describe ‘service’. As you know, there are drivetrain differences between the ‘08 model and the ‘13 model.
I used the synthetic equivalent to the jws 3324 standard oil for the transmission due to the varying temperature differences over the course of the year.

Every now and again I too experience an abrupt downshift. And fwiw, the tcm reflash did nothing.
So now I have a quandary, Is it the transmission or the differential/haldex?
