Adaptive front lighting system (afs)
How many of you know your LR2 has an ADAPTIVE FRONT LIGHTING SYSTEM (AFS)? I just found out because when that -13F cold wave passed through I went to go to the supermarket and the light on the instrument panel was on for this. Page 74 of the owner's manual. I had no clue. By the time I got to the market and the car had warmed up the light went away. Maybe that's why this truck is not sold in Siberia.

The US just legalized them a year ago ago...

Maybe we have it installed, but disabled in SDD? Might be worth trying to activate it... it's legal now, but that probably wouldn't have stopped me before.
Are you still building SDD laptops?

Anyway, the NHTSA ruling is not about this, it's about a new type of headlight with adaptive beam technology.
I paused the SDD work because I need to build a heavy truck diagnostic system for my schoolie motorhome project. I did get it installed on a modified Chromebook but not fully debugged yet.
