Aftermarket Navigation
My boyfriend recently got a 2008 LR2 and I want to get him a really nice navigation system for Christmas. I'd really like to get one that is capable of having a rear backup camera as well. Does anyone have any good recommendations?
I saw a video that a guy put one where the radio is, but I'd really like to put it in that blank cubby hole spot above radio, where the stock navigation systems go. Is that possible?

An alternative gift idea that may be a little more useful is an Ultra Gauge - it will display engine readings in digital form, and reset the eventual check engine codes. About $70.
Most men won't admit they need a map or are lost when SWMBO or GF is in the vehicle....

I did something close with an older garmin nuvi 760 I had. I installed the auto suction
type holder in that space and ran the wire thru the back , looks like a factory install for very little money and turns on/ off with car .
