I have a 2008 Freelander 2 - 2.2 td4, and I'm wondering about your experiences and advice on buying an aftermarket "Navigation + Carplay" capable multimedia system (7inc).
I want to use the buttons on the steering wheel, and I would like to have a reverse camera.
I would appreciate it if you could suggest a couple of brands and models to me.

All these devices are Chinese-made and do not come with good instructions or even descriptions. Sometimes they say they can do something but actually require you to buy more "accessories" to do it, or have a function like cellular data that doesn't work in the US because 3G is discontinued here. If you really want to try this I would look at YouTube for some examples, but even there some of the fools posting videos will not disclose the brand and model equipment they used because it's a business and they want to do the work themselves.
