Default Aux input

I have an 08 lr2, since I bought it I have not been able to plug anything in the aux input jack on the center console. Its almost like something is stuck in there obstructing anything from plugging in, unsure about this though. Are there any how to's or tutorials on how to remove/replace this input jack?

There are 2 aux power outlets in the center console. Are you having the same problem with both of them? Suggest you post a photo.

Oh, I wasn't aware there was a second input. I"ll post a pic a bit later today and when I can get a free moment at work.

In regards to the one I am having problems with though, I'm more than certain there is something stuck in the actual jack, whether its a piece of an old aux cable or something else someone stuck in there for whatever reason?

Still looking for any kind of guidance on how to remove the aux input.

I believe he is talking about the 3.5mm input jack, not any power outlet.

in this picture, it looks like you could get to the jack, but not sure. I don't have a LR2, just trying to help

Yes I am talking about the 3.5mm input jack not the power outlet.

And yes Joemamma1954, that is more or less what I am trying to get to. Either to clear the obstruction in the jack and see if it works. Or replace the jack all together. Thanks for the images!

Default Did you get answer

I’m having the same issues with aux and not sure how to clear obstruction or replace unit. The aux unit looks to be clipped in and it’s hard to release.
