Default Brake and Tail light issue

Passenger side brake light and tail light are out but blinker works. Have replaced bulbs with Land Rover bulbs, replaced wiring harness and checked all fuses. Checked the harness with ohm meter and there is power coming to the brake and tail light. Any suggestions would be appreciated!

I suck at electrical but have you tried the same replacement bulbs on the DS?
See post 3 of this thread and onward:

It references a CJB reset and how to execute it.

I also suck at electrical, just not my thing, anything past common sense is above my thought process! Thank you for the information, I will try the reset.

The contacts inside the sockets likely need cleaning. Lightly rub them with an eraser or a piece of sandpaper. That will likely get them working again. It is not uncommon for moisture to get in there and cause corrosion.

^^ This ^^

Had the same issue with my driver side's tail/brake bulb. A tiny piece of sandpaper wrapped around a screwdriver tip let me get in there and clean it up. You might also consider a dab of electrical contact grease on there to help keep moisture and corrosion from returning. Make sure the lights are OFF before you go sticking anything in the socket.

Yes, dieletric grease is also a great idea.

I use it a lot. But it's only suitable where there's a firm physical connection, which is typical of modern connectors. It can be counter-productive on some vintage car connectors.

The grease itself does not improve conductivity, once you establish good conductivity by cleaning, it helps preserve that by keeping moisture out to prevent corrosion.
