Only the eMMC SSD can be upgraded on the 14. Everything else is as set in stone as the 11. And no, there's no way to tell from the firmware display if the SSD is replaceable. You have to talk to uncle google to find out.

It's an interesting business opportunity if you can take an inexpensive/used CB and perform an OS transplant to Windows with an SSD upgrade. Makes it more useful and appealing to the masses.

Maybe. There's a lot of cheap, used and upgradeable laptops out there. The HP G4 line only has a 2-core Celeron CPU. Good for SDD and mundane tasks but not much more of anything else. For me this is just another project to keep me out of trouble.
