Coolant Leak -How to find 2014 LR2 Petrol Heater Inlet and Outlet Hose Part Numbers?
I tried finding the part numbers for these hoses on TOPIX, and I can't figure out how to do that. What is the proper way to find the part numbers for these hoses pictured below so that I can order replacements? I am seeing what looks like a slow leak at the pipe connections and shows up as a small puddle on the ground and a soaked into shield fabric. See droplet on hose connector. Hose I think has part number 8B159 EE EPDM GGRFAPT. I am confused on how to find the part numbers in general for these parts.
I would just phone any JLR parts department, give them your VIN and get them to give you a part number and a price quote. That way you can at least get confirmation.
I just changed the heater hose on my wife's lr2. After adding fluid about once a week to turn off the coolant warning light I finally fixed it. I ordered the part on ebay ,prices vary so shop around. Took me about 1.5 hours to remove and install the hoses. The hoses are located against the firewall. The wiper arms and the cover under the windshield must be removed . I simply removed the secondary firewall to gain access which made it easier to remove the hoses from the heater core. Heater hoses tucked against firewall Old hose
This is where you want to go to find the parts and their numbers. Ignore the Russian language stuff, it's easy to figure out and it covers just about every modern LR model.
P.S. I had to change a bunch of leaking coolant hoses in the past couple of months. Every single one from the coolant reservoir to the back and rear. Looks like they gave up the ghost after 190k miles. Remember that the LR2 is the US version of the Freelander 2.
