Default Custom 2008 LR2 Exterior!

So a year ago my parents purchased for me a 2008 LR2 SE.
This is what it looked like.

Standard, nothing special. First upgrade was tinting the windows. 5% in the rear and 20% for the driver and passenger. If you are interested in tinting your windows, do NOT go any lower than 20% in the front as you are blinding yourself at nighttime.

Now the big upgrades. I decided to go with a black and orange (gold?) theme and pastidipped all of the silver parts of the car as well as the rims black.
The Rims.

Final product with no front window tints. Will be replacing them soon as I had to remove them due to a ticket.

So that is my car. Definitely has a meaner look with the black and orange theme on. It's unique, you'll never see another like it! All custom work done by myself. Let me know what you think

I think you ruined a perfectly good Land Rover. But you're obviously a spoiled little rich kid, so that's to be expected.

I see what you do not like what I did with it and that is perfectly fine as I respect your opinion. However I do not understand why you have to assume I am a spoiled rich kid? Buying a 2008 Land rover lr2 will run you around 16-18k. Is that really rich? I'm not here showing off my new 2013 Range Rover Sport. So I hope you understand that you are wrong in assuming that I am rich. However, you can continue to be ignorant as long as you like.

Also I did all the work on the car myself.

I tinted my sunroof because the OEM tint was not heavy enough to block the bright sun where I live. California law does not allow us to tint the front windows.

I never liked the orange color, but orange does work very well with black. The black accents you created really make your LR2 look very sharp ... good job! You have taken a stock vehicle and made it your own with some thoughtful enhancements.

Now if a clever LR2 owner like you could just figure out how we can improve our MPG?

Looks fine except for the gay "mouse" on the hood that looks like it was drawn there with a Sharpie.

I like the orange and black theme on the Rover. Looks good. I do have reservations about the mouse on the bonnet. But, hey. That's your taste who am I to judge. You added your own personal touch and that's what makes things unique. Keep calm and Rover On.

Just my two cents about the spoiled rich kid comment. When I have kids I'm going to spoil the **** out of them. However, I will make sure they appreciate and understand that things in this life don't come free they have to work hard to get the things they want. Maybe, my man here pulled straight "A"s and got a free ride to a distinguished four year university....

The mouse went a long time ago! The final picture of what the car looks like today is the second to last one. That was just something for me to try to see how creative I could get. I'd like to thank you all so for for you feedback and I am glad to share this with you. Specifically to Coors, I would like to thank you for seeing through SSL9000J's rude comment. I really worked hard and did well in school for as long as I can remember. And I really do appreciate, and understand, what my parents have done for me by being able to give me this vehicle. As it turns out, I am in my final year of high school now and will be attending university in the fall

When you dipped the letters, did you remove them from the vehicle? If you did remove them, I'm curious to know if the letters are attached with glue or with double-sided tape?
