entertaining a change.
Not that I really want to... I really like the LR2. It is useful, comfortable and capable whether
1. shlepping stuff to the boat
2. headed to ski country
3. helping daughter get to her university with all her stuff
4. playing offroad in some demanding terrain.
5. making an urban run to the grocery store, via the liquor store.
But I’m thinking about getting a trailer and it will push her limits. I’d prefer the replacement had a diesel. Larger towing capacity, and handle everything I like from the list above. And I really don’t want to break the bank or get committed to financing.
So the search continues.
But while dreaming I had a look at this: https://www.autotrader.ca/expert/202...mparison-test/
Interesting. I would never have guessed.
Have a great day everybody!

I like them both, seriously. My 2 cents would be to purchase the one that is much easier to repair and with less repair requirements (both haven't been around that long but a 3 gen model is usually a solid choice platform).
If I won a new Defender at a raffle, I'd sell it as fast as I could. Not going to deal with the endless problems that JLR will never address. For a $80,000 luxury SUV, I expected better quality.
Doesn't the Bronco have a 3,500lb towing capacity? That is a deal breaker for many.
