FL 2 - Memory Seat Module Issue
Worth every penny combined with JLR SDD............when I learned that if I had to replace the throttle body (I don't but....) that it would have to be registered/married to the system; my first thought was "this is total dealer crap/BS" so I started researching the programming. Came across the Jaguar forum and went from there; I use the v130 virtual machine onboard driver but you can go to the original Mongoose site and DL the newest driver that you can use with the most recent versions of JLR SDD (free software DLs).
Agreed. It also works very well in managing my jag.
For example, I turned on the aux port on the stereo. then connected my own device via the rca cable. Also the seats in the jag need reprogramming occasionally. Never had this issue with the LR though.

I got the cable and created the Virtualbox VM with the .OVA with v130. (I also got a CD v160 and login credentials!). I ran the VM and it recognized and installed the cable drivers, and updated the firmware. Now what?
Now it's time for tonnes of research but post 1 in the Jaguar forum thread re v130, basically tells you everything to get the software up and running. Just use a supply charger when you are communicating with the software and vehicle. Also, tonnes of patiences. Also, learn how to use "engineering mode" but beware you can be left with a "brick". Freel2 has a "brown pants" thread on how to flash a custom file to you instrument panel...........it's a great learning experience but not for the "faint of heart".
Good luck!!!
I also got V156 with my clone but I prefer the v130.....most of the updates petered off re the 2008 LR2/FL2 so v130 is adequate.
Good luck!!!

Negative from supply charger to engine block for ground, positive from supply charger to pos battery terminal, then plug in or turn on supply charger. The software will be green for battery icon meaning you are supplying constant 13.5 volts at 25 amps.
That's how jump starting is supposed to be done and on my car it doesn't work, period. If I run down the battery because I left something on overnight, I have to remove the battery cables and charge the battery on its own, then put the cables back on and do the radio/time thing, change the unlock thing, etc. PITA.
I have a 2008 LR2 and I believe you do as well. This works for me without issue so try it and then put a voltage tester on the battery leads and see if you are getting 13.5 volts at the battery terminals. If you are then it works. I connect my ground to the big engine eyelet on the DS 1st third of engine block.
