without warning my front seat pass door lock wont unlock with the others. when I try to pull it up manually it yanks back down. any guidence to this end?

 

I have a similar problem, but with the drivers door. I posted about it a couple days ago.

I found a post on another forum describing a similar problem, but no solution. Here is the post:

I'm thinking of trying a "hard reset" that I've read about where you disconnect the battery wires, then touch the positive and negative wires together which drains all devices and resets them. Sounds like a strange process, so I'm just working up my nerve to try it.
