Fuel Pump Replacement
G'day all
Advice please. My 2007 LR2 is currently at the local Stealers who have just quoted me the best part 1000GBP or about $1550 for the replacement of the fuel pump. Do you all feel that this is a bit on the expensive side.
Your thoughts please.

Im pretty handy with the spanners as I fix airplanes for a living but we are not allowed to repair are own cars as it is frowned upon. Fuel pump costs about 300GBP in the UK, my stealer here in the wonderful rip-off state of Qatar says the pump is the best part of 800GBP thats around $1200. Then he has the cheek to tell me that the final price is heavily discounted. I'm thinking of selling the LR2 after this fiasco, to expensive to maintain. Pity nice bit of kit.
