Haldex unit

Default Haldex unit

y anplug the Haldex unit and all the rubbing sound at the differential when turning the steering wheel are gone,
however that turn on the Transmission fault traccion reduced and the terrain response system faulty sings,
cuestion will this affect the function of the car

There is a somewhat fragile wire connection from the Haldex unit that may have been damaged or disconnected that will cause that error.

I saw the plug what goes to the Haldex Unit, that's the one I disconnected and the rubbing sound are gone, as soon as I connect agein the messages goes and the rubbing sound comes back,
my cuestion is the Haldex need 2 be connected, the car sound fine whit it disconnected 2 me, but I am no mechanic so I don't now if I am doing some damage 2 the car by having it disconnected

Oh, I see. I didn't understand your original post. I don't know for sure but I have read on other forums that you essentially turn it into a 2WD car when you disconnect it. Whether or not that will cause damage is unclear to me.
