Default How to open tailgate inside the car

Is there any way to open the tailgate inside the car in the driver's seat?
I have to pull out the key fob and press the tailgate button which makes me very uncomfortable.

Have you tried holding down the open and lock key buttons on the center console of the vehicle at the same time for a second or two?

Thank you so much!
It works by following what you have instructed.

Yet my case is not that bad. It worked by pressing two buttons.

Thanks though!

Careful, pressing the unlock and hazard lights buttons at the same time triggers the ejection seat.
