I ran across this video on Youtube and was surprised to see a Freelander 2 (LR2) in purple. I don't know if this was a custom paint job, or they offer different colors in the UK than the USA.

Color is all a matter of personal taste. It's a little too flashy for me, but interesting to see.

I believe that the Freelander 2/LR2 was available in a whopping 27 colors. One of them is what I believe that is, Izmir Blue, not quite violet. The LR part number for the aerosol touch-up paint in that color is LR005707.

And if I may say so, that is just SO wrong, in SO many ways...

 

May be wrong for a brawny Marine Veteran, but perfect for a spirited young gal. I found this in a quick Google search:

oh, it's not paint, it's a wrap. At least it is easy to take off. thank goodness.
