Land Rover LR2 HDC system failure.

Land Rover LR2 HDC system failure.
I've placed a link above to the video of what my LR2 is doing this morning. Right after the video cuts out, the HDC System Failure prompt came up. This is my first Rover and I'm not super mechanically inclined. It wont turn over all the way as seen in the video. One thing you can't see in the video is my foot on the brake, the pedal will go slightly down but not as much as it normally would, if that makes sense. Almost as if there is an ABS issue.
I haven't had any problems before that would indicate a potential issue to come so I'm kinda at a loss for words.
If someone could help with this, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

From what I've read, 50% of the time this problem is caused by a faulty brake switch. What you described as the break pedal not going all the way down may mean that it's not tripping the brake switch at all. If you can, find the switch and trip in manually, then test to see if the car will start.
