Land Rover LR2 Roof Rails/Rack Help Needed
Hey fellow LR enthusiasts,
I have an '08 LR2 that I absolutely love, but it is getting older and has 74k on it, so I would rather not spend a ton of money on roof rails. (US Spec, panoramic roof) I purchased it used and it did not have the factory roof rails. I would really like to buy some, but they are extremely expensive from my local dealer ($450, plus tax and $300 installation). Does anyone know where I could buy some cheaper? or is there a better solution like Rhino Rack, Yakima, Thule? Has anyone tried the OEM imitation ones made in China? If I do go with the genuine OEM ones, can I install them myself? Lastly, are there any recommended accessories? Any help is appreciated.
