Default SD Roof Rack Fitment With Extended Roof Rails

Hey Gang,

Thinking about installing an SD roof rack, and I was wondering If I need to remove the OEM extended roof rails in order to fit an SD rack. I have spotted a used SD rack close by, and may consider purchasing. Are there two different types of highlander roof racks? I want to make sure I'm purchasing a rack that fits, becuase I'll be installing it at the person's house I'm buying it from in order to transport home.

It should fit considering it fits over the front rails, but I'm someone will come by and either confirm or correct this.

If your rear sunroof sticks up higher than your extended rails, you'll be fine.

I can open my rear sunroof no problem with the SD rack.

They made two versions, one (with longer legs) for with the roof rails, one for without. Odds are really good it's the one for Discos with roof rails, but worst case you can remove your roof rails.
