Default Leaks from rear main seal

I have a very small leak coming from my 2009 Land Rover LR2. I just got it looked at and apparently the leak is coming from the rear main seal. I am at 106,000 miles and I hear this is pretty common around this mileage. This shop does not do transmission work, so they recommended me take it somewhere else. Has anyone else had this happen on their LR2? If so does anyone know how much it cost to repair?

Default Before you replace the rest main seal ..

Before you replace the rear main seal check your freeze plugs; another common issue.

Is the freeze plug a source of oil leak for the 3.2 petrol engine? Please advise the location of the freeze plug also.

Did you manage to resolve the oil leak?
