I'm sure it would be fine. However... the potential hassle of having to do it all over again might cause me to get the OEM stuff. Wouldn't blame you either way. I use $17 Honda-Bond on my Acura, instead of $5 FLAPS RTV.

The only way to get that result is to never run the engine again. Sh*t happens.

Default Exhaust manifold

Hello again guys ,
I'm gonna remove the exhaust manifold tomorrow in order to release the head , I took a look yesterday and the access seems like hell , does any one know the easiest way to access the manifold screws attached to the head ?

Default Metal coolant pipe

Guys where does this metal coolant pipe go ? Pls. See the attached picture ,I am supposed to remove this pipe in order to remove the timing cover. I managed to remove it from the left side , but on the right side it seems its going into the engine behind the water pump , I cant see where it attaches to . How to remove it ?

Don't know for sure but from the image it appears to be held in place by the two bolts, with an o-ring to seal it at the block. Should pull straight out.

Probably just needs some leverage, try to keep it as straight as possible coming out although a little wiggle might help. I'd guess the oring is what's sticking (should probably replace that too).
