LR2 battery died, now won't start
Hello
I have a 2009 LR2. My battery died and when we charged it the lights on the dash come on and the radio and navigation work, but I can't get it to start. The red light for the security system stays on for about 2/3 seconds when I try to start it, then blinks slowly. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem or know what the problem is, and how to fix it. I feel like it has something to do with the security system. Any help very much appreciated. Thank you!
Lindsay

I'm not sure if is an old wives tale.
More an old Range Rover eccentricity.
I have seen a video where they talked about this but it was for a 1995 Range Rover.
The LR2 doesn't have much RANGE ROVER DNA but it does have a lot of VOLVO DNA and I have never hear anyone on the Volvo Board talk about this.
Take care
Paul

I was just trying to get more info. I've been combing through the different forums trying to find a solid solution to the Hell that's caused by a weak or dead battery and the dreaded immobilizer. It seems to be a pretty big problem in the Rover family but I still haven't found a solution.
