Hello, so I just installed an OEM harness, and I have no lights on my trailer. Do I need to take the LR2 to the dealer first to get it activated before it will work? I have put in both the 40 and 15 amp fuses, but nothing. This is very aggravating ugh... Thanks in advance all

 

I am in the process of installing the same harness and have been checking all over for help with the layout (the instructions that came with it are awful). From everything I have seen the dealer activation bit is not to get the harness to work, but instead to lock out the backup warning sensors when the trailer lights are plugged in.
