Any vehicle specific issues with Mobil1 vs the recommended castrol?





Also google finds two different Mann filters...

HU 925/4 X and HU 925/4 Y



Anyone know if the X or Y makes a difference?

 

volvo dealer has the same filter. the engine oil is the same as alot of newer cars. They can go alot longer on the oil. but always make sure to get an oil that can go at least 7500 miles. Plus don't invest in a cheap paper filter and get synthetic oil. The longer you go the cheaper filter will break up. BMW learned that the hard way when the accountant saved a few pennies and got some cheap paper filters. They broke up after six thousand miles and killed some engines. These were the filters the dealers were using.
