Haldex isn't a bad system you just need to stay on top of the fluid changes and they will last forever. Or if they've updated the manual for a lower maintenance interval and your seller has records then it would also be good.
I'm not familiar with the newer models.

Thank you for the prompt reply, saw some videos, it it quite easy to change the rear diff oil, just need a syringe to suck the oil out and fill it with new one, I can do it once every 2 years. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure in the later models they fixed the rear diff bearing problem which caused the diffs to fail at 30-80K miles.

But what I would do is change the rear diff and front transfer case fluid immediately, and also do the Haldex service which LR does not consider necessary. Then incorporate aggressive regular maintenance for the Diff, Haldex, and front transfer case (PTU). Much more frequently than LR suggests.

No they have not. I have a 2015 LR2. It's in for a new rear end, fortunately I bought a CPO. I just rolled 80k. I've replaced the turbo, 3 fuel injectors, alternator and all the tire sensors. That's what I can think of off hand. Absolutely love my Land Rover but would never buy one without being certified.
