Default LR2 Service or Repair Manual Recommendations

Hi, I was looking for a Haynes manual for the US LR2, and it looks like they published a diesel version of the handbook. Can you recommend a petrol, or as we Yanks call it, "premium unleaded gas" version of repair manuals? And ignore the part where we call a "liquid" form of energy "gas", and we'll ignore the CHEWsday pronunciation for the day after Monday.

Finding a Haynes manual specifically for the petrol LR2 (Freelander 2 in other markets) is tricky. Most workshop manuals available are for the diesel versions. Your best bet might be the official Land Rover Topix service system, but it’s a paid subscription.

The link to download the free 2008-2012 LR2 Service Manual is on this forum. Use the search function to find it. It covers both gas and chewsday diesel models.

In the absence of a Haynes petrol edition, many owners just rely on the full workshop manuals from dealer sources or downloadable PDFs. They’re way more comprehensive and specific to the LR2’s petrol engine and drivetrain, whereas the Haynes diesel version won’t help much if that’s not what’s in the driveway.
