In search of an 2013 repair manual. Any advice on where to look? I did find what might work on repairmanuals.co but it appears to be a monthly subscription. Would really prefer one in my hands

Am experiencing a sound something akin to a jet engine taking off as I accelerate. It is driving fine otherwise. Thinking front differential or transfer case... not sure.

Any thoughts and help would be greatly appreciated.

 

I have been looking for a long time. The only option I’ve seen is to purchase from the LR site.

flybd5. Yeah, the LR2 is the U.S. version of the Freelander2. I have been able to get the mechanics repair manual for the Freelander - the same except for the whole driving from the right side. And have been able to use it with working on the transfer case. But since I am in for the long haul with this Rover would really like an LR2 Mechanics Manual. There is absolutely none to be found. After seeing guy's reply I have sent an email in to Land Rover asking if they have one.

 

I found Haynes Mechanics service repair manual for the 2013 Freelander2 and bought that. Two noticeable differences is the Freelander came as a diesel and of course the whole reverse drivers position. It helped with recent work on my LR2's transfer case. Since I am in for the long haul with the LR2 I really want an actual Repair manual for my model. I have just emailed Land Rover inquiring about one. We'll see where that goes

I just paid for a 24 hour subscription and it states not authorized and must have a subscription. I am hoping I did not just waste my money.

 

Topix is a PITA to use. Clear your cache and cookies, maybe try a different browser.

Wouldn't it be great if the same was found for the 2013 on, with the 4cyl turbo, petro?
