I figured it out.-- in the manual. BTW, I am getting 16 mpg city traffic.Just got it last weekend. The mpg seems to be increasing every day.
We'd "discovered" that too! No complaints here. Ours seems to have leveled out at around 25 highway and 19.5 city, but sometimes in city driving I use the Command Shift, and the mileage improves to around 20 to 21mpg. S

I've got ~200 miles on it so far.

I average about 12.5- 13.5 in a stop-and-go short commutes (5-10 miles). On longer commutes on the highway (say40 miles)- it averages around 17-19.

My LR2 is about a year old. Have about 10k on it. I'm averaging 18 in the city. Mind you I live in a very hilly area at about 6,000 feet. Highway I get 24+.

the measurment is acuatlly very accurate. its part of the calcualtion used by the car to determine how long your service interval will be, shorter amount of time for lower milage. however it does add in time stopped, such as at a stop light, so if youre seeing dramatic changes, as in the first post, make sure its not just catching some green lights before you get your hopes up.also, youll save a good amount of fuel if when youre cruising on the highway you keep it under 3000 rpm, even if its only 2950, fuelling changes at 3000... not sure what that works out to as far as speed goes though.
