Default Ned a quiet, medium size air compressor?

Lowe's has a special until Oct 12 of a Kobalt 26 gal single stage 70db oil free air compressor for $339 ($40 off).

https://www.lowes.com/pd/Kobalt-QUIE...sor/1001014062

This is $60 cheaper than a similar model at Harbor Freight with a measly 90 day warranty! Here in Mass. even with sales tax it is cheaper than the base price of the HF product!

https://www.harborfreight.com/air-to...sor-57336.html

Kobalt also has a better reputation than Harbor Freight and their hilarious product names (Fortress, Predator, McGraw, Central Pneumatic) all invented in some cheap marketing conference room. LOL!

That's a beefy compressor just for DIY auto maintenance. Are you building another BD-5?

I am building a schoolie motorhome from a school bus. That's my Russian helper. 65 yrs old, been in the US for 30 years and he's in better shape than I am! I'm working on fixing that, though. Down 11 lbs already. Goal is Marine Corps active duty end date weight.

Wow, that's an ambitious project! Hope you get most of it done before the snow, "Winter is Coming".

That's what electric heaters and extension cords are for.

Wow. This Kobalt compressor is SUPER quiet, and actually has two air pumps and two outlets. So far, so good!

How's this project going? Are those outdoor heaters working?

Had to put in hold again while I installed a 500 lb wood stove and a double-walled flue and chimney to cut down on heating costs. But the demo work is done, I think the next step is to start installing furrying strips prior to installing the new ceiling with wood slats. It was 50+F today, no need for heaters or the stove.
