Default New front seat cushions and leather?

Hi All, with 230K on our beloved LR2, the drivers side front seat needs new leather and the pax side needs a new armrest cover. I'd like to do new seat bottoms and armrests on both. I've searched and searched here and elsewhere trying to find aftermarket replacement cushions and leather and come up short. LR wants $1000 for new seat foam and I haven't found the leather anywhere. Have any of you had any luck finding replacements? Worst case, perhaps a set of seat covers that are a good fit?

Any competent upholsterer can get this done for you. If you’re not going to go with factory, the shade of colour might be off…. of course, as your LR is an ‘08, I doubt even factory would match, anyways.

I’ve done this on many vehicles in the past. I would opt to do the entirety of both front seats, myself.

You want to talk to Jesus. Or maybe Manuel. If they are not around, talk to José. Any good Latino upholstery shop will take care of you lickety-split.

Yup. I did this years ago. $700.

All good stuff, thanks. Unfortunately though, new leather won't hold up without new seat foam underneath it. Again, dealer wants $1000 for *one*. Have any of you run across any aftermarket options?

Why do you think they won’t replace worn underlayment (foam)??

Upholstery shops should be able to cut new foam to fit.

They may just have to reapply the seat and back heating stick ons to the foam once the get the right cut and density. I'd look for Jesus as mentioned earlier!
