Default Newer wheels or rims on older Lr2?

I am interested in getting new rims on my LR2 and I have always had my eye on these ones that came out on a newer LR2 (2012 - 2014). I have a 2009 and would love to buy these and put them on my car. All the sites I see say they are not compatible. Was there a difference in wheel spacing of the lugs or something on the newer LR2's? From the research I have done, it seems like the are the same size and setup as my OEM ones. (5 lugs, 19inch, 8 inches wide, offset of 55mm).

Does anyone know if I can get wheels from a newer LR2 onto my slightly older one?

These are the wheels in questions:

The ones I have.

vs

The ones I want.

Bolt pattern and center bore are a match so no reason they shouldn't work.

That's what I thought. I have seen on multiple sites that it says they don't fit on the 2009 LR2. Do you think that is just cause they weren't originally released as an option on the 2009 LR?

You'll find the same thing with tires. If they weren't originally identified as compatible with the year and make of your rover, they most sites say they are not compatible, even though they would fit. If the bolt pattern is the same and the dimensions, including the depth of the rim, there is no reason it shouldn't work. But just be sure there isn't a difference between the original and the new, other than appearance.

I have a question for you, I found these 265/50r20 wheels and tires for a great deal but I have the 2011 lr2 currently they have 265/50r19s
would you happen to know if the different rim side has a factor on wether they would fit or not?

I think you will find the offsets are different.
Nonetheless, I am in the habit of confirming fitment by using this tool:

I have had 255/55 R19 on my 2009 Land Rover for years. They don’t run or have any problems at all. Not sure about 265/50 R19. But it seems like they might work since they’re lower profile. My tire shop put mine on and tested them. Not sure if you have that option before you buy. But, the slightly wider tire and lower profile could work. Or just be cautious on cranking the wheel all the way, until you wear down some
of the tread. Not ideal I know, but an option. If they don’t fit I think it will be barely. We’re talking a third of an inch difference in width from mine. And I think mine has more than that in clearance from rubbing. Also, mine are 55 height, so yours being 50, might give you a little wiggle room too.

editing this post: just realized you are talking 20 inch wheels, not 19. In that case it is very questionable.
