When I first started my LR
this morning(cold ❄) , I got an HDC FAULT code on the Dash and then it disappeared but the LR2 Started fine. After driving for about 30 mins, I was in the driveway parked engine still running and suddenly it started stalling and loss off power but the engine did not shut off and check engine light came on and then went away. I ran an obd2 scanner and it said P0193.
Yes, but the PCV valve is integrated in the black cover (LR023777) shown in the photo towards the firewall. That cover goes by different names: valve cover, oil trap, camshaft cover. The part # is LR023777. I replaced mine a couple months ago.
The passenger side of the fuel rail on my 08 LR2 is a torx screw that needs to be (carefully) removed to release pressure from the rail before removing the sensor on the driver's side. More commonly on other vehicles, it's a schrader valve instead of a torx screw.

Ooops. My bad. I was looking at the diagram for the diesel engine. You're right, that side of the fuel rail does not have the PCV valve on gas engines.

Yes..........a very easy job to do this on the 3.2 petrol. Youtube video and all. Good info bud!
So where does this oil trap send the fumes? I don't see a hose going to the intake, like you would expect to see with an old-fashion PCV valve. Does it just vent it out to the air?
