Default Power folding mirrors

Hello, just purchased 2013 LR2 HSE and was wondering why I don't have power folding mirrors. It is listed as a standard feature on the range rover website. I have contacted my dealer and customer support with no luck: blanket statement of looking into it or "...it must not be available in your model..." You'd think they would know! In any event, I thought I'd reach out to this forum and see if anyone else has this concern or actually has them working. I've attached a snap shot of the website. Thanks!

Interesting. Does your window sticker which lists all the features for your specific vehicle indicate PowerFold side mirrors?

You mean the one they have on the car while on the lot? No, didn't check it.

I have same model and in my research before purchase also thought folding mirrors were standard, but not on mine. No big deal for me. Had my car for a month and absolutely love it. no issues whatsoever. Have had it off road a few times and handles great. Have only needed to use regular driving mode. Averaging only 18.5 mpg in slow city driving with air.

After my research before purchase, I obviously knew more about the vehicle than anyone at the dealership! Frist time I have ever run into this when purchasing any car. Dealership was extremely friendly and helpful, since I was initially considering an Evoque, but concerned about all the issues with this new model after 2 years! Test drove many SUVs.

Just referred to my Quick Start App on my iPad. It states that the mirrors will foldin by pressing the right and left mirror bottoms at the same time. They fold back out by hitting both buttons at the same time again. Have yet to try this since it's 2 AM. Have always had my car hand washed every 2weeks or so, but you might give that a try!!! I suspect that's our solution and you can let your dealer know, if that works.

Holding left and right mirror buttons does not work. Try it on yours and let me know.

Nope didn't work for me either. Bummer. Have not yet checked my window sticker to scope out included options. Still love the car. Learn new things about how things work each week.

The vehicle is fantastic, with or without power fold! Pretty sure you'll find that it wasn't listed on the window sticker. I'm just disappointed that it is openly advertised on their website as a standard feature...and why shouldn't it be? Its a fairly commonplace feature!

Default Same issue/questions

I just bought a 2015 Landrover Lr2 HSE , it's a dream of a car. My husband and I are so in love with it and it's off roading capabilities are impressive. We have been learning so much about Landrovers and our car in particular, watching Videos &Reviews, Reading, Researching & Googeling....and we ran into the same problem. I looked in our user manual handbook and it says it has the power folding capabilities but it doesn't explain how. We saw a couple different videos online, showing & explaining how the automatic folding mirrors work none of the Videos were about an 2015 Lr2 though. We tried them out anyways ike holding in the left and right mirror button at the same time but nothing happens. I'm hoping I will find the answer here soon, if not I will have to ask the dealership too or wait till my next service appointment on April 5th & ask the mechanic

If you don't have the folding mirror graphic on the mirror control you don't have folding mirrors.
