Random Coolant Drip
Happy Holidays!!
Recently noticed a quarter sized pink drip under the drivers side front of the 2008 LR2. Its random and comes and goes.
Got under there and didn't really see much. Where the lower hose meets the radiator it looked possibly a little damp? Nothing glaring. Im nervous because I believe this to be a harbinger of a major failure.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Kevin

Looks like it is a plastic to plastic connection with and O ring and some kind of metal fastener...No hose clamps...Talk about a crappy design.
Now the question is, how do I get in there and Is it the radiator or the hose? Grrrrrr

Brought to mechanic...Looked tight in there and above my pay grade.
It was a hose to the aux cooler that presented as being wet on the lower radiator hose. I guess he said it was metal and cracked.
165 out the door. Not bad.
Few more problems to fix eventually...Starter is going, I'm getting a brief pause during cranking. Everything I read tells me starter is on its way out.
Gas gauge randomly drops to empty....Fuel pump assembly.
Hoping that's it for a while....
Does anyone know about the tpms? I have a 2 valve stems that are broken...Caps rusted on and broke the metal stem..Are the stems replaceable of will I need 2 whole new TPMS'S?
Thanks
Kevin
