Default Service Interval Indicator (SII) for oil change

I know how to reset the dash display for when an oil change is due, but I would like to change the mileage interval to something shorter than the 7500 miles default. Is anyone aware if this is possible using an LR scan tool? Not that it would help me since I have a generic scan tool, but I am interested to know if it's possible. As of now, I'm not even bothering to reset the SII.

I can't find any way to do that. Google just says "Huh?"

I'd say it can be done but it would likely require SDD in engineering mode and modifying actual code. Might be a better question to post at freel2.com and/or research on the Russian forums.
