Default Some Gronk stole my panel! What is this piece called and where do I get a replacement

Hey Y'all! Some *** hat came through my neighborhood and ripped this panel off my 2008 LR2 Sport. I'm wondering if any of you know where I might be able to buy a replacement, and what the part name or number is. Any advice on how to pop one back on here would be appreciated as well! Anyway I hope your day is going better than mine. Thanks!

LR2T278?
LR026340?

Call any LR parts dept and give them your VIN and model and they will give you a quote then also ask for the part number, (that would likely be fastest)?
Really hard to tell from the pic but did your hatch handle stretch across the entire tailgate lengthwise?

Is that car actually an LR2? It says Range Rover and the missing handle is longer than the one normally found on LR2's...

This is not an "LR2 Sport". Such a thing does not exist. You own a Range Rover Sport HSE. That bit of information is important to know. And you're on the wrong forum.

This may give you the part number you need.

That is a nice vehicle in the picture! I have the identical one, just bought it for the wife last week. The color is called "Tambora Flame". She loves it.
But anyway, about the rear trim piece, mine was missing the same thing (very poor design), and a new one at the dealer was almost $500. So I bought a used one from a salvage yard for $125.

I have the same color too. I like that picture because the original grey plastic trim has painted black which is what I did with mine. I also did the front vents.

The liftgate handle can be found new/surplus for a little over $100. The problem with a used one is that the attachment points may already be cracked and weakened.

To prevent cracking...

1. Don't overtorque the nuts that hold it on. I learned to remove that myself BEFORE I take it in for any work which might require it's removal... otherwise shop helpers will roll in hot with an impact wrench.
2. Use two hands when opening it to spread the force around.

Ya, the used one I bought had two broken mounts. It must have broke when they were loosening the nuts at the salvage yard because the design is very poor. To remedy the problem I ran a small inconspicuous cable from the interior panel screw out to the outside of the door. So to open the door my wife just pops the button and then pulls the door open by the cable. So that way the lift handle never has to be touched.
