I was looking for brighter head lights, and came across bulbs for this topic. Have a 2010 LR2, and under the storage area in the door, there is a place where it appears these lights can go--on the bottom, so the light would shine down on the ground. Does anyone have them? Is the door pre-wired for them, or were they just available with certain packages?

 

They are called puddle lamps. Mine come on when the door is opened.

 

Are yours in the mirror or the door? Mine has a cover in the door, but looking on-line, can only find lamps for the mirrors.

 

Both. The light at the bottom of the side-mirror comes on when I use the key fob to unlock the door. The light at the bottom of the door comes on when I open the door. I have the optional Lighting Package for this vehicle.
