Angry Stripped bolt oil for oil

Edit: Title should have been "Stripped bolt hole for oil drain tube"

Hey all-

Pretty bummed out. I was under my 2014 LR2 turbo-4 (bought for cheap, $13k, with 100k on it - no rust), and I noticed an oil leak. It was coming from what I think is an "oil return tube" /pipe's mounting point. These metal pipes are about 3/8" thick, are about 4" long, and are mounted at either end with two bolts. One of those two bolts was not tight at all, and that's where the leak was coming from. It was very difficult to get my hands/socket in there, but I did try to tighten it down. Couldn't. I think the threads inside that bolt hole are stripped. Just dropped the car off at a trusted mechanic yesterday.

Question is - has anyone else randomly had this issue? Will they need to drop the engine to heli-coil such a bolt? I think so. Yikes....this is going to be $$$. What else should I talk to them about doing, maintenance wise, while they have the engine out?

The pipe is #11 on this diagram, I am pretty sure: https://parts.landrovercapefear.com/...and-components

Any help/discussion here is appreciated. Thanks.
Phil
