Default Suspension Recommendations?

Need to replace the suspension in my '08 LR2 as it's getting a little bouncy after hitting a small bump when i drive.

Any recommendations for a specific brand or kit for after market suspension and/or lift kit?

Is the suspension removal/installation doable by ones self with basic tools?

Cheers,

- Rick

Rick,

Watch the video

Does it look like something you have done before?

Good luck

How did this go? Did it fix your problem? I am ha ing the same issue, but am worried there might be more wrong than just the struts.

Check front control arms.

I had my system replaced with SF Racing coil over shocks. I could have done the job, but would have rented a spring compressor to remove the coils. I preferred to have a shop do that. The shocks cost $1000, not sure of how much it was to install as there was a number of other items on the bill. I shocks made it about three inches higher (I would like to lower it about 1-2 inches, back to closer its original) and I softened the ride 4 clicks. I probably would be a little better another 4 clicks softer.

I had Bilstein B4 shocks installed. Stock height, and just a tad firmer than OEM. Wife and I like the ride better than the OEM.

Did you have them installed or put them in yourself?

If you had them installed, how much did it run you?

I had them installed, don't recall how much. I don't think it was crazy money.

What’s your definition of “crazy money”? I got a quote for about $2200 for both front and back.

It was probably something like that, I'd remember if it was much more (I'd have done it myself).
