05 LR3 Just purchased with many issues a/c,fuel gauge not working
Just bought an 05 LR3 HSE with 97K miles looks and runs great but has a few issues
1. A/C not cold- I tried all settings and no difference, has freon and reads 125psi on low side with it running or not
2. Fuel gauge reads below empty at all times- Have read it sounds like a wire issue at the sending unit but have not dropped the tank yet, any other thoughts?
3. Rear upper hatch not opening- It will open only when you hold both lock and unlock buttons down for 3 seconds. Any way to test that hatch rocker switch? There is no power to it and does not click when you hold the button on the rear.
The car is a great looking ride and don't mind putting a little money in it. Please if you can offer any help that I can do myself it would be much appreciated!

THanks for the input will try some of these suggestions. I need to post a pic of her!
1 - The LR3 has a constant on compressor for AC, no clutch. When in "economy" mode, its reduce to 5%. Its a controlled swap plate setup that regulates flow. 125 is a really high reading though for the low pressure side and closer to a typical high pressure side reading. At least on a conventional system. Low pressure should be around 50. You need to get readings from both sides. If they reading is the same, the compressor for some reason is not operating (again, it should alway be on since there is no clutch). If there is a difference in readings, then the compressor is working.
Welcome! If your code reader is not a GAP IID tool, you'll not be able to diagnose many/most issues with an LR3. It'll pay for itself quickly vs taking it to a indy shop or dealer every time it hiccups.
Nothing fixed forgot to mention the sunroof does not work as well could all this be a ground issue? THe A/C pegs out the gauge on the low side.. compressor or expansion valve? There is no power going to rear hatch(glass part) does it operate on a negative contact? Not sure on the fuel gauge but will invest in a reader.
