Hi All,
I have a 4.4L LR3 that's throwing a trans code P2718. From what I've read, this seems to be a manufacturer specific code. As such, I have 2 questions:
It ended up being a 2 prong solution

- Does anyone have any recommendations where I can find a Land Rover specific code reader?
- Does anyone else have any familiarity with this code? I've come across a bunch of forums that talk about it but haven't really come across solutions for it.
It ended up being a 2 prong solution
- It had the original trans oil and filter. Drained trans fluid(though not completely) and swapped out filters.
- One or all of the shift solenoids were all out of wack. Dare I say that I bought a used set online for cheap enough. The hard shifts into gears and between gears went away and so did tthe trans fault on the dash at least for now.
