Cool 06 LR3 V8 power steering fluid flush ?

Hi every1
I'm thinking of either just drain and refill power steering fluid or flush it and refill it. I will use Mityvac 7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus to suck it all out. I know there is a youtube video showing how to unplug and outlet hose and drain it all out from there. I think thats too much work and it will be messy. The Mityvac should suck it out well I hope.

My question now is where is the inlet hose into the reservoir ? Link to reservoir - https://www.autohausaz.com/pn/18855_...0aAkAsEALw_wcB

Is the smaller hose inlet or the bigger one ? I want to suck it from the inlet hose to completely suck it dry.

For the fluid. Which 1 you guys recommend ? I don't drive a lot so I don't really need high end fluid. These ones - ACE And Power Steering Fluid 1 Liter or Pentosin CHF 11S ??

You never want to run the system dry by sucking it all out. Air in the lines can be an issue. Not to mention it would probably not work without the vehicle running.

Just tossing this out there, because I actually have no clue at all wit the LR3. But in some vehicles you can actually fit a hose to the reservoir inlet from the inside. Basically find the correct size of a soft tube and slide it over or inside the return inlet. The with vehicle running, just let it empty into something while you pour fresh back into the reservoir making sure it never goes dry (so have all the fluid bottle you need open and ready!).

There is no turning back now, I changed it in the afternoon now its 330am. The wheels is so smooth now. I don't see any problem so far. I turned the car on after I poured the first bottle in, and the system cycled all the new fluid in. And then, I poured the 2nd bottle in, about half of the bottle went in so total 1.5, 1.6 went in.
