Default 08 LR3 Off-Road Height

Hello!

This is my first post and I am a new LR owner, purchasing an 08 LR3 with HD package back in early May! Since I've had it, I have done had some work done on it to get it sorted for an upcoming cross-country road trip. One of the issues I had was an air suspension fault that my local Land Rover shop (not the dealership) fixed for me. The question I have is, shouldn't I be able to raise the LR3 to off-road height by simply using the height adjustment switch? I can go between normal and access height all day long, but it will not go in to off-road height unless I put it in to one of the special terrain modes, switching to low range, and then it will go to off road height automatically. The manual tells me I should just be able to do it with the height adjustment switch only. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Also, how can I correct this if it is an issue?

I did search for this issue, but didn't really find my specific issue. Thanks in advance for your help and advice!

Default Yes, you should...

Sounds like you have a bad switch or electrical connection to the switch.

You should be able to set off-road height at any time as long as you're driving less than 30mph, irregardless of terrain selection. You definitely have some sort of continuing issue.

I would check the switch and connector under centre console (where the gear lever is)

A couple of spilt cokes or coffee usually causes that fault.
