Right after I went back and collected my maxtrax, fog light trim ring and entire rear bumper. ;-)

That is some serious mud.. ours has more clay in it and tends to be red, and slick as spit. I went ahead and bought the Nitto Ridge Grapplers, again, based on how much I liked my last Nitto's. I'll update y'all after I try them out.. scheduled to go to Sicily Island on Saturday with the LA4x4 group.

Know that feeling.

No AT will ever be awesome at mud some are better than others but MT is the right choice. It all boils down to the trade offs. I solved it with to sets of wheels one AT and one MT

Rear bumper falling off can be a little embarrassing, but my regular trail friends find it pretty funny and always a photo opp now.
Definitively a good barometer of how difficult a trek was.

@Army: Youll appreciate this one. Justin from L8 reattaching my bumper on-the-fly at rovers on the rocks competition circa2014:

Update on Nitto Ridge Grapplers
Did the swap and couldn't be happier! More quiet than the replaced Conti Allterrains, and vastly superior traction off road.. went to Sicily Island, LA off road park, and couldn't be happier.
