I have a 2006 LR3 V8 with two intermittent issues:
1. The driver side mirror will work in and out no problem, but will not go up and down most of the time. Sometimes it works as designed. The passenger mirror works properly all the time.
2. The ebrake will work sometimes, but most of the time when you activate the switch it just makes a screeching sound. I turn it off right away. No lights or warning message come on.

Ideas?

 

The ebrake either needs to be adjusted or the actuator replaced.

 

Brakes could need adjusting. Mirror is possibly a switch connection faulty or the connector behind the door card loose.
