i have 2006 LR3 and i get this transmission fault. Ive read up on forums and also tried the emergency brake release and that worked a couple of times but now when i start car and try to go forward or backward i get the error and car wont move. it seem like maybe its the transmission but possibly the emergency brake. i see others with this issue and no one seem to know exactly the issue. any help is appreciated in advanced

 

friends would like to reciprocate ... with a big tip ... failure in the socket of the brake lights (lack of ground contact) means that with the half light on the car does not change gears ... in addition to generating numerous failures. .. when it happens when you turn on the headlights to hear the gear change ..... we hear the same noise when you step on the brake. thankful.
