I have a 2006 LR3 SE V8. The problem is that if I key the ignition forward the engine will begin to crank and not catch. The engine will continue to crank unless I return the key to the very first position. At this point, the engine will not start.

This is how I have been starting the truck and it works every time. I move the key to the accessory position and put the truck in neutral. Then I key the ignition and the truck starts.

Does anyone know what is wrong and need to be replaced?
