Default 2008 LR - Roverland Engine being installed in July - What else while it's out?

My 08 is in great shape otherwise so I'm keeping it. I'm hoping the guru's here can help with putting this together right. Meaning, I just read about the PCV so of course I'll install new but what else? Does the 4.4 have the coolant crossover tubes the 5.0 has? I could use a hand in replacing all that make this as reliable as it can be. I know that Gerry at OCRovers knows what he's doing but I'd like a list to go over with him to not miss anything.
  • PCV
  • Water Pump
  • ?
Many Thanks,
Drew

The rear main seal. Not a common issue but anything between the engine and trans that could fail should be replaced. And the rear seal is not stupid expensive (I think).

The 4.4 does have a crossover tube. Its actually part of the t-stat housing. Its a known weak point, the plastic cracks. Go OEM only, the aftermarkets seem to crack early.

Really teh PCV and water pump are so easy to do with engine in place, I would not consider them a priority. But if you are doing those anyway, I would replace all pulleys, the idlers, tensioners, etc. Basically any belt component that is not an accessory. Again not expensive, but those things wear.
