Default 2008 - Transfer Case Faults / Transmission

Hey all. I'm looking for some assistance/advice on these transfer case faults - see image. Looking at the dates these were triggered years ago. Would it be best for me to clear these out and then drive around for a while to see if they come back. These happened while I owned the vehicle however I hadn't picked up the GAP tool yet. After working on a suspension issue I started going through the various faults. The top two, four-wheel drive low ratio and high ratio, will those faults only trigger in certain instances? I will start looking these up of course, in the meantime I'm just looking for general guidance. I would like to start clearing out the various stored codes by fixing or replacing whatever is needed.

Cheers!

Just clear them. The information is over a year old. If any of the modules sense low voltage for even a second they will throw codes. Since they date back to years ago and you've had no problems, they likely aren't causing any issues.

Thanks for that. I was hoping that would be the case. Now, on to the HVAC system! Cheers

if your trying to have a rover with 0 codes in all systems.... i think your gonna pull your hair out.. it took me a year just to get 0 lights on the dash lol. if its not causing the vehicle to not do something it is supposed to i would not worry about it, clear all codes in entire vehicle and see what comes back. and then go from there

agree with what everyone is saying. Just clear them.

That being said...use the thing that triggered the faults to ensure it's not still doing it. In my case, clearing the fault works until the thing is used again, causing another fault. Your codes indicate transfer case issue so put it into low. Put it into high. I'm sure it'll be fine.

My last remaining ones are the halo light around the key and the driver's side seat heater. They come back. As much as I'd love to have a clean run for once, it's not worth it for me to actually fix these.

Agreed. I'm definitely not trying to bring the faults down to zero, as I'm know how this typically goes with LR . I've had the truck for about 5 years now and have delt with a fair share of gremlins. Thank goodness for all those wonderful YouTube folks!

Good call on putting the truck through these different modes to see if it triggers any of these alerts again. I'll do that when I take it out next. I'm getting ready to put the truck to sleep over the winter so I'll clear these out, do some testing, and then tackle the AC / Ventilation stuff in the new year. Or at least start looking at what the causes could be. Those issues I do need to investigate as my passengers typically like having some AC in the dead of summer. Cheers!
